'Tis the Season!

We just recently celebrated our 1st Thanksgiving and 1st Christmas together as a married couple. I was late posting about our Thanksgiving...so I decided to wait until after all the holidays and post them all together. WARNING: Long post ahead!! :D

We have so much to be thankful for. Our family and friends. Our God and His love towards us. His provision and protection. Everyday blessings that go unnoticed. A new home (closing date in February!) Our health. Each other :)  Here is a glimpse into Our 1st Thanksgiving!

I found a new favorite!!

My husband and I both love the snow. We've been blessed with several snowfalls already! I love the sight of it first coming down, the chill in the air, the way it crunches under your feet, the scarves, gloves, hats and hot cocoa! Brrrrr!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

My sister and I had a tradition every year to build a gingerbread house. My husband kindly agreed to help me keep that tradition! (only this time we decided on something a little different than a house)

We spent the Christmas weekend at his family's...

Perfect treat after a snowball fight

Our 1st Christmas!

Headed home!

My Mom passed down a Christmas cookie recipe from my Grandma. We always had so much fun making these growing up...a tradition which I want to keep every year!  Someday I will make these cookies with our children, and pass it on to them.
