Time

As a child, I was always told that as you grow up, time will only seem to go faster.  At that young age, time seemed to move so slow though!  You know what I've learned as I've gotten older? They were right.

We celebrated our 6-month anniversary this month.

How is it possible that we've been married for half a year already? It seems like just yesterday we were exchanging vows in front of family and friends.

.   Promising to go through life at each other's side no matter what.

Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for this man that God has given me.

He is a hard worker and good provider. He is gentle and sweet to me.  He loves God and does his best to follow His will.  He makes me laugh no one else.  He keeps me going when I feel like giving up. He shows his love for me every day. He makes me want to be the best young wife I can be.

I don't deserve him, but I'm so glad he's mine.  No one is perfect, but he is perfect for me!

We decided that instead of going out to eat to celebrate, we would celebrate at home instead.  We made homemade pizzas together!

One standard cheese, sauce and veggies, and one BBQ Chicken! Yum! :)

Played some games. Skip-Bo is a favorite.

He surprised me with some beautiful roses.

We also got some pictures done a few weeks ago.  The weather was perfect and the Fall colors so beautiful, I just couldn't resist.  A big thanks to Bethany at True Beauty Photography for such a great job!

Autumn Adventures

Fall is my second favorite season, closely following Spring.  I love the colors.  I love the smell in the air. I love the crunch of leaves under my feet.  I love the boots.  I love the sweaters.  I love the scarves. I love the hot tea.  I love the candy corn.  I love Thanksgiving. I love waiting for the first few snowflakes to appear.

We have had a busy last few weeks. I've neglected to keep up with my pictures & posts, so you now get them all at once! :D

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went to the park for a walk to enjoy the beautiful colors.  I love the outdoors and going for walks.

I love this man of mine so much!

I love the quote at the bottom!

My husband surprised me the other night by taking me to a corn maize!

There were 2 maizes: the train and the race car.  We did them both, the train we did twice!

Hay rides

We finished off the night with marshmallows on the fire and hot apple cider (well, I did anyway...my husband preferred a root beer float on that already chilly evening ;)

An apple pie I made for my husband...love making pies!

Dr. & Mrs. Starr were in our area a week ago and stopped in for a visit! It was so good to see them again and be able to visit.  I've learned a lot under both of them through the years and have great respect for them and the work they are doing for the Lord.                           Continue to pray for them!

Delicious cookies Mrs. Starr brought for us in an adorable mason cookie jar a friend gave to us.

Our kitten Olivia has grown up just about full size now! She is quite a character.  I've never seen a cat with a personality like hers.  She's amazing!

Here she is hiding under our air conditioning unit...can't believe she still fits!

She seems to love the camera :D

Olivia not only likes salad, carrots, & cucumbers, but she also loves bananas...weird, right?

As I look out my window, I see the leaves change, days get cooler and eventually bare trees.  Soon after, things will begin to freeze and we will be getting snow.  Then Spring will arrive and everything will begin to grow again.  Summer will then hit with it's heat.  Fall will once more come around.

Seasons change.

 Thoughts change.

People change.

Lives change.

You know One thing that doesn't change? Our God. His love.  His faithfulness.  His provision.  His care.  His protection.  His holiness.  His mercy.  His goodness.  His grace.

I'm so glad that no matter what happens and no matter what changes, our God will never change!
